We are inviting an HR Generalist to the table who had 10+ years of experience in a similar job and who can work independently in a diverse, multicultural context. Your knowledge of international labour and social law are of key importance, as is your experience in leading HR projects within a fast-paced working environment. Are you an innovator that can think both short and long term? Are you a strategic thinker that is also willing to do operational HR work? Do you love to address and inspire your audience in different languages (Dutch, English and French, Spanish is a big plus) and are you stress and change resistant? Then you are a match! By the way, travel will be limited.


As International HR BP you take on a staff position on Group level. You are the go-to-person for General Managers and HR colleagues worldwide, helping them (project wise and/or advisory support) with various HR topics such as talent attraction, development, and retention. Special attention will be given to those smaller business units where we do not have HR representation. As subject matter expert and individual contributor, you work closely with and report directly to Kristof, our CHRO.

Key Accountabilities

  • You focus on leadership development (analysis, project design, training), performance management (goal settings in line with company strategy, performance reviews, bonus settings, ….) and organizational development.
  • You design, implement, and standardize cost-effective HR processes, policies, systems, and metrics to support the business units.
  • You work actively on new projects/ideas around Talent Management and Employer branding in close cooperation with our TA Specialist.
  • You assist in the development of HR Scorecards with KPI’s that can be used to make the right business decisions.
  • You operate as a change agent, helping our employees to digest change and facilitating learning related to the exponential growth of our organisation.
  • You act as a role model for Biobest’s Code of Honour (culture and values) and will drive several Corporate Social Responsibility projects.
  • You take the lead in internal communication with regards to HR and employee topics.
  • You participate in the international HRIS team that is currently implementing SAP SuccessFactors worldwide.
  • In cooperation with the CHRO you set up Operational, Tactical and Strategic HR plans.
